Never Give Up!
An encouragement to not give up.
In The book of kings we read about the king of Israel who faced the threat of the Syrian army. King Joash, cried out to Elisha, who happened to be on his death bed.
Elisha told him to shoot his arrow, out of the window as it was the Lord’s arrow of victory over Syria. He then told him to take the arrows and strike the ground with them. Joash did this three times and stopped. It says that Elisha became angry, “Then the man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck down Syria until you had made an end of it, but now you will strike down Syria only three times."”
2 Kings 13:19 ESV
We need to take every opportunity that the Lord gives us and not give up.
I convinced more than ever that the work of doterra is kingdom work. We may not be surrounded by a physical army, about to go into battle. But spiritually we do face battles daily, many of our customers are fighting for their lives with health challenges and the Lord has provided a way for us using oils and prayer to bring them hope and healing. Many are trapped in a cycle of medications and pain killers, and the Lord wants to set them free. We have a high calling before us to help as many as He puts across our path and I for one don’t want to strike the ground three times and stop. I want to continue to strike the ground daily.
To take every opportunity that the Lord gives us and to not give up.
To offer hope and healing to all that we meet.
To trust that He has called us to this and that our victory is His.
Let Him use your hands and feet as vessels to minister healing and expand His kingdom.
He will bring people into our lives who need physical and emotional healing, but they ultimately need Him.
Never forget that this is a high calling!
