This is one little verse that is packed with so much promise!!!


We are God’s handiwork!

You are the handiwork of God! Think about hand crafted.  Artisans pour time and effort into making their creations just right, color, size, and shape, making sure it’s exactly how they want it. Handcrafted denotes something of value! It is unique! You were handcrafted by the hands of God. 



Created In Christ Jesus to do good works

The fact that these are tied together- that the good works come out of our union with Christ, our purpose is wrapped closely in our relationship with Him.


Which God prepared in advance for us to do!

This is powerful. So when He was forming us, in the womb, knitting all those cells together, He was thinking of who we would need to be, to do those good works! He also gives us the personality that we needed to accomplish the good (God) works that he prepared for us! That’s planning ahead!


He knows what’s coming, He had you born for this specific season, to be uniquely you. 


People sometime send me messages saying that they disagree with my views and that they hope I won’t be offended! But that’s what makes us unique. As much as there are systems in place that try to make us think all alike, the beauty is that each one of us is totally unique. I have different strengths than you. I am passionate about different things! That’s ok! We aren’t supposed to hate each other for our differences, we can learn from one another!


The other thing that is totally awesome is He has a plan for each day, each hour, each minute! He has already prepared the way! 


I don’t know about you but that puts a spring in my step and a smile on my face!

Encouraging Prayer

The Lord gave me this prayer for a friend several years ago, but I want to encourage all my sisters with it. Father I ask for you to give my sister revelatory knowledge from your heart to hers for your plan. As she diligently seeks you, will you draw near to her and lead her. Give her wisdom and favor and every resource she needs to complete the work you have called her to do. Shower your blessings upon her. May you continue to draw people into her life who you have drawn to you. May she continue to water the thirsty, feed the hungry and give hope to those when there is no hope. Will you pour out your spirit into her life more powerfully than ever before. Will you drench her so that she will have an endless supply to give. May she be right in the center of your will, for that is the safest place. May you receive all the glory for all that you do In her life. selah!

SOUL HEALING

Progress! I have eluded to the fact that what is happening to my home is paralleling what is happening in my soul! The peeling paint (wounds from past hurts, often related to father wounds) The worn siding - hope deferred, disappointment, broken promises The rotten wood - unforgiveness, bitterness (I was totally blind to this) But He makes all things N E W. Just as you can’t put new siding on top of old wood, the lord wants to bring us to completely wholeness. His word says in 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. Do you get that connection? We prosper and are In health as our soul prospers. So if we are harboring sin (bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness) there is only so much prospering that can happen….. as the accuser in the courts of heaven has legal right until we deal with these areas.
